Cooking on YAC

The people of Ukraine face a difficult winter ahead.

With Russia targeting the energy infrastructure much of Ukraine is experiencing blackouts.

To try and help in some small way we have partnered with a fabricator in Ukraine to up-cycle used gas cylinders into stoves to provide heat and a cooking source for families and the military.

So far we have commissioned 100 stoves but want to keep the supply going as long into the winter as we possibly can.

The stoves typically cost 95 euros – if you can donate anything at all towards a stove or stoves please click on the link below.

We will keep posting pictures of the stoves as they go out into the communities and up to the front line.
